July House Project Notes Garage After the garage floor was cured and the inside framing was done work started on the large garage addition. We are adding onto the original house by including a three car garage and a workroom. Two of the garage bays are designed to handle large trucks. By staggering the construction work can continue on framing the outside while the electrician and plumber start work inside. Here the first joists arrive and some of the initial garage framing is started. The second back wall frame goes up. Once the wall frames were up it was time to start adding the roof joists. Inside the garage there is a utility room and stairs to the back door. We are using some metal posts to hold the centerline of the garage up. Here they are installed and the view showing them in place. Once the frame was up work began on the plywood siding and the roof. Tyvek wrap was put around the garage area as well.
