Chicken Show
Tuesday was the Delta County Fair Open and 4H Poultry Show. The Hellecksons and I show chickens in the open class. Loom Assembled and First Fleece Skirting

Sheep Shots
On the 31st of July, we gave all the lambs their first vaccinations, plus dewormer. Nose bots are a real problem this year, so we have had to watch carefully and deworm more frequently. Sheep, Shipped!
Ron Keener picked up two rams bound for Texas. We’re now pretty much sold out of sheep until we wean lambs in the fall. I still have a few adult rams that I could sell, but no adult ewes to speak of. Continue reading

Shop Work
The shop floor has been sealed and painted, and the metal on the sides is up. The metal is to help prevent any fires if sparks from welding bounce around and hit the drywall. We used leftover metal roofing material from various projects, so we have a colorful shop! Continue reading

It’s the 9th of July, and Bill McKee moved his construction trailer back on-site to finish the last of the work that the shop needs. Blog updates have been slow.
