What a View

We climbed up to the second floor of the new shop to take a few pictures.

A picture looking Northeast from the top floor of the shop.
Still looking north, but a bit more to the east.
A picture looking Northwest from the top floor of the shop.
Northwest, looking over at the triticale field.
Looking over the front oats pasture from the top floor of the shop.
The front pasture where we had oats this year.

The wonderful views from here spurred a significant design change. Our original plan had only a single dormer facing south. We’ve decided instead to duplicate that dormer facing north, so that I can look out at the sheep when I’m working upstairs. It seems a shame not to take advantage of such a nice view.

A gorgeous view of Mt. Lamborn and other landmarks in the distance.
Our signature view from Garvin Mesa. Mt. Lamborn and Land’s End with Redtop in front.

It’s the end of the day, and the shop is looking nice.

The construction of the new shop is well underway.
