Hay Barn Reconfiguration

,

Now that we’ve made the transition to large square hay bales, we no longer need the backstop that the old hay stack wagon used to push the small bales up against. We’ve decided to take it down and see if we can move the sheep handling system into its place. That way, we can use it in winter.

We’re doing it in two stages. Our first step is getting the side closest to the sheep pens down. The tractor is very useful in pulling the posts out. We’re halfway done, but the remainder won’t happen for several weeks.
