We sheared 102 sheep yesterday. It’s necessary for the health of our sheep, and it provides us with useful wool.
We used our AnimalTrakker® system’s Scan and Print function to print labels for wool samples. This makes it easy to send them off for micron testing. We scanned and printed the labels, then pasted them in the plastic bags that held the wool samples. The trick is to put the label on the inside, just in case the sticky part doesn’t stick to the bag well – then, you don’t end up with missing labels.
