Cloak Is in Progress

With the help of your messages, some help on Ravelry, various emailers, and a few phone calls, I finally decided on how to sew the cloak fabric together. I used a figure-eight stitch while holding the right sides of the fabric together. Then, I flattened the seams and pressed them. These pictures show how I am sewing the seams.

Here it is, partially done. The first seam is finished, and I’ve got the second piece pinned in place and ready. These are the rest of the pieces that I still need to cut out. I decided to cut the center, then the two sides, and sew those before cutting the outermost edges.

Here are the three middle pieces, all finished.
