Insulation and Drywall

I had a bit of a bobble trying to update this blog, so expect a lot of posts all at once today.

The insulation people came back and finished installing the blown-in insulation just as the boom truck was delivering the drywall. Fortunately, the drywall contractor was right on time and moved fast. Upstairs, there are a lot of corners and angles, so it took a while to do, but it’s looking good.

Downstairs, there was too much insulation, and the drywall could not be installed properly. They had to pull some out. It made a huge mess, but Ken cleaned it all up over the weekend. Thanks to Ken, they could start the taping on Monday without wasting time cleaning up cellulose.

This boom trick is delivering drywall sheets for the new shop.
Drywall sheets are being placed in the new shop for construction later.
Part of the drywall is up in the new shop.

The drywall is mudded and looking good.
