Well, I spoke too soon! At this morning’s sheep check, at six AM, we found an ewe with three lambs. 298 Caridwen had all three lambs out, dry, and nursing. Two were ewes and one was a ram. Unfortunately, Caridwen can only count to two, so we put her in a jug on pasture until she learns she has three to care for. She gets good mom points for getting them all out, cleaned off, and not tangled. I just wish she’d only had two! I’m not sure she’ll have enough milk to feed all three. I hope the rest of the wooly beach balls aren’t hiding three lambs inside!
