Sold out for now – we’ll have more sheep available in Spring 2026!

Healthy, Self-Sufficient Sheep
If you worry about low performance, disease susceptibility, and reliance on human intervention in your flock, we have the animals you’ve been looking for.
We provide vaccinations and dewormings as needed to all of our sheep. In addition, we’re OPP free and Export Qualified in the Federal Scrapie program. Full documentation of all treatments we conduct will be provided to you, the buyer, during the sale.
Proven Performance
Our flock is recorded with the National Sheep Improvement Program. The indices we follow most closely are the USA Maternal and Self-Replacing Carcass. Self-Replacing Carcass is similar to the Welsh index used in the UK for evaluating and recording EBVs for Welsh Mountain sheep, and thus, we follow it here.
These systems provide you with specific information on how performance will vary between sheep. We use these indices to assign values to critical commercial characteristics. We can also provide EBVs for any specific trait you’re concerned with.
Part of being a healthy flock is being able to breed successfully long-term. To that end, we keep detailed pedigrees that allow us to track how closely our sheep are related. Using our sheep, you’ll be able to line breed or line cross as desired to reach your own flock goals.
All of our breeding sheep are guaranteed to be breeding sound.
Breed Standards
Every year, we evaluate each animal on our farm on a number of characteristics that represent breed type and quality. We then give each animal an overall score. We’re happy to provide these scores to you so you can select sheep based on your own criteria.
All breeding sheep will be registered with the American Black Welsh Mountain Sheep Association or the American White Welsh Mountain Sheep Association prior to sale. All eligible breeding rams will also be registered with the UK Black Welsh Mountain Sheep Breeders’ Association.
Additional Fees
Buyers are responsible for all transportation and veterinary fees involved with relocating the animal(s), including fees for health certificates and additional testing. We will pay all transfer fees required for breed registrations.
Transportation Information
Whether you’re transporting your sheep yourself or hiring a service, all sheep must be picked up in Colorado via a livestock trailer. We do not allow pickup beds or other creative methods of transport (such as a camper shell). Trailers must be free of all bedding and hay on arrival – we will provide hay for bedding and feed. Rams and ewes must be transported in separate compartments. We do not allow mixed rams and ewes during travel.
