Front Yard Elk

End of March and a large 50+ elk herd moved through the front yard. I think this is the latest we’ve ever seen the elk here.

We noticed these tracks in the snow when we were feeding the horses today. From the looks of it it’s a small canine predator, probably a fox. It doesn’t seem to come anywhere near the sheep pens. I am sure our guard dogs kept it away.
