St. Nicholas Day – Rain and Progress

, , ,

It’s December 6th, and the framing of the roofline on either side of the dormers is nearly done. It’s a bit hard to see here, but despite the constant drizzle, a lot got finished today.

This picture shows a far away view of the new shop, which is currently in framing for its new roofline.

Larry was back with the last of the elk fence wire, and he got it hung successfully. I didn’t get any pictures of him starting the stretching process. It was really raining when we went out there. We put temporary gates up after chasing the deer out of the orchard. We are back again to deer proof – or at least, we hope so. It’s not coyote-proof by any means, but that’s why we have so many guard dogs. With the sheep in the winter corrals, they’re not at too much risk.
