The new middle divider fence is finally finished. It looks wonderful! It’ll be a much better fence than our temporary welded wire one. The sheep, on the other hand, are looking like wide loads. I hope they lamb soon – they really are getting big! Continue reading

It’s already May, and we’re STILL getting snow. This is unusual, even for us. Most spring snows melt the same day. As things stand, we’re feeding out a lot more hay on pasture to make sure the sheep stay warm. Even the dandelions are confused by this weather. More snow came in today. We bit the bullet and put more jugs and dog houses out. Most of the ewes put their lambs inside and stay outside the dog house. One ewe, Morwenna, figured out how to get herself inside as well. We’re feeding the ewes extra hay to keep them full and warm. Continue reading
