Our Arabian horses are from the old CMK lines and represent the even-tempered family horses that are the original Arabian. We started with Arabians in 1970 with 2 half Arabian mares. After many years working to conserve these rare bloodlines and to maintain a variety of sire lines we have decided to stop breeding horses.

Our purebred Arabians were linebred on Rahas, a W.R. Brown stallion who was the grandsire of the immortal Abu Farwa. When the Maynesboro Stud was disbursed Rahas went to W.R. Hearst’ San Simeon Stables where he became one of their herd sires. Although Rahas has been dead for a number of years it is still possible to find horses that carry a high degree of his blood.

We still have two horses, now retired pasture ornaments, DW Zaraqin and DW Zadeyr.
