Passed this range sheep flock outside of Delta grazing the old corn fields.
We had some good friends over so I made a special mutton leg roast for dinner. No spices necessary, just cooked properly. It came out wonderful and we had a good time.
Delivering a big bale of hay to the ewes. Almost plowed out enough to feed the ram lambs.
The deep snow up high has brought the elk back down to the valley. This big bull is eating the old hay we spread as mulch last fall. Meanwhile, Ken is trying to clear out enough snow from the aisle way so we can get in to feed the ram lambs.

Morning Chores. We move the ewes out of the pen and close the gate. Ken can then drive a bale in and place it under the hay shed row roof. Put the hay feeder panels back around the bale and then take the twines off and let the sheep in. It’s working well. These...
